Choosing a Camp is an important decision for parents. As parents, we understand how much care goes into the choices you make for your children. Parents choose Meadowbrook Day Camp because of the safe, nurturing, fun environment for growth, learning and play that it offers to your children.
Here are excerpts from just a few actual letters we have received as a sampling of what some Meadowbrook parents wrote to us about their experiences at Meadowbrook. Click on any letter to see the full text.
Meadowbrook provides several opportunities throughout the season for parents to visit camp:
- Prior to the start of each summer, we offer an evening orientation where campers meet their counselors and other children in the group. A parent orientation meeting includes an informational and question/answer session with the Directors and other key staff. This pre-camp orientation is our first step in partnering with parents to make their children’s experience at Meadowbrook the best ever!
- We offer a morning visitation during the first 3 weeks of camp for each Division in camp.
- The Meadowbrook Summer Splash is now an annual tradition where campers and their families and friends can visit Meadowbrook for a weekend day of fun at camp in the middle of the summer.
- We offer an open visitation policy for parents who would like to visit their children and see camp in action. All that we ask is that parents call ahead to schedule an appointment with the Division Head to make sure that we can maximize the value of your visit.
This section of the website is set up so parents can easily find forms, photographs, and news about camp both during the summer and throughout the entire year.
