The Meadowbrook Difference
STAFF: A strong, cohesive staff is one of the keys to Meadowbrook’s success. Our mature and highly trained staff members are committed to creating positive, indelible memories for our campers. Our large Leadership Team, which supervises the staff, makes sure that every camper receives the attention and focus they need to have a great summer at Meadowbrook!
PROGRAM: The Meadowbrook program is extremely creative…always changing…and customized around 8 weekly themes. Our program is carefully designed to include all traditional camp activities as well as unique activities such as our arcade (no quarters needed), bumper boats, mountain boards, fishing, amazing high and low ropes course and Native American studies.
LEADERSHIP: The Meadowbrook Leadership Team is truly a “team” of outstanding leaders. Camp is carefully organized and run by highly involved camp professionals with years of experience dealing with campers and children in general.
FACILITY: The Meadowbrook campus is a magnificent 50-acre facility surrounded by natural beauty. Many visitors to camp compare it to the facilities that are typically seen only at overnight camps.
TO SUM IT UP: The combination of a solid, well-supervised staff, a dynamic program and a quality facility is what makes Meadowbrook outstanding!
Roz, Jed, and EVERYONE at Meadowbrook,
Words cannot fully express the gratitude and appreciation we have towards all that you have done for our son, Sean this summer. It has definitely been his best summer EVER!
You all have taken the time to actively involve yourself in every aspect of camp for him. We are just amazed how closely knit you are with the children. That is the best part and the kids can learn a lot from that!

Meadowbrook offers a “traditional” day camp program. It includes a wide variety of athletic, aquatic, artistic, ropes, and nature activities. An outstanding Teen Travel Program for campers entering grades 7-9 is also available. We provide Door-to-Door Transportation in air-conditioned mini-school buses and offer extended hours from 7:30am – 6pm. For a list of our current rates and programs please see our Camper Enrollment Form.
Each camp day includes 10 periods. Campers are grouped by school grade to provide the right mix of activities on appropriately sized facilities. As campers get older, their daily schedule evolves to include additional activities that challenge their newly acquired abilities and improving skill levels. For example, starting with campers entering 2nd grade, there is one "choice period" each day where campers choose the activity in which they want to participate.
Meadowbrook provides lunch each day for our campers. Our daily main menu item will be a "kid-friendly" selection like Pasta, Pizza, Macaroni & Cheese, Bagels, a Hot Dog and Veggie Burger Barbeque, Chicken Nuggets, Grilled Cheese and Deli sandwiches. A Salad Bar along with fresh fruit is available every day. Daily alternate selections include Bagels, as well as Cheese, Soy Nut Butter & Jelly or Cream Cheese & Jelly sandwiches. If campers choose, they can always bring lunch from home and it is kept cold in Meadowbrook's walk-in refrigerators. Juice and water are available every day at lunch. Water is also available in coolers throughout camp all day long to keep our active campers well hydrated.
Meadowbrook’s Waterfront program offers campers a variety of activities in our 3 heated pools and one of our two lakes. Our Swim program follows the Red Cross step level program. Your child's daily schedule will always include instructional swim in the morning and free swim in the afternoon. Our 9,000 square foot pool complex includes 3 heated pools for a variety of swim activities. Our boating program, on our own private lake, features Canoes, Kayaks, Power Paddlers and everyone’s favorite: Bumper Boats!
And More…including innovative Special Events each and every week...late nights and- campfires...a full high and low ropes and challenge course featuring a three-sided 30 foot climbing tower, 30 foot high 460 foot zip-line, a real arcade, mountain boards, a ¼ mile wooded mountain bike trail and the famous Meadowbrook Dance Show.
The Meadowbrook experience doesn’t end with activities…in addition to making great friends, learning how to bond with older staff members, becoming better swimmers, learning better skills in athletics and the arts, acquiring an appreciation for our natural surroundings and so much more, Meadowbrook campers also become better members of our community through our T.I.G.E.R. program.
T.I.G.E.R. represents 5 core qualities that we believe make up an exemplary camp community member: Teamwork, Integrity, Generosity, Enthusiasm and Respect. Each day our staff members look for campers who display these 5 qualities and these campers are awarded a special symbol of recognition. The camper from each division who shows the strongest effort to model the T.I.G.E.R. characteristics is given a special award at the end of each week.
Meadowbrook tuition includes door-to-door transportation on air-conditioned mini-buses and mini-vans. The camp day starts as soon as children board the bus. Each bus ride is filled with fun activities organized by our staff. All vehicles are driven by Meadowbrook employees that are hired, trained, and supervised by our own Transportation Director. Parent pick-up and drop-off options are also available.
